An MCP server for property maintenance triage

fixRAgent runs a remote MCP server at https://fixragent.com/mcp. Add it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code, Gemini CLI or any other MCP client, and the assistant can read one photo of something in a building and say what it is, how urgent it is in one of four words, which trade to call and what to tell the resident. Nothing to install. The first tool, try_sample, needs no key.

Keyed and keyless calls both count against 20 requests an hour from one address. Anything happening right now that needs emergency services (fire, gas, someone hurt) is a 911 call, not a tool call. fixRAgent routes a repair job; it does not price it, book a contractor or decide an insurance claim.

How to add it

Claude

  1. Copy https://fixragent.com/mcp and open Claude's connector settings.
  2. Tap +, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it fixRAgent, paste the link, tap Add. With a key, add it as a request header, or paste the link with ?k= and your key.

Once added, it works in the Claude phone app too.

ChatGPT

  1. On the web (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise), open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings.
  2. Turn on Developer mode. It stays on.
  3. Tap Create, name it fixRAgent and paste the link.
  4. Pick No authentication, tick that you trust it, and tap Create.

fixRAgent is not listed in ChatGPT's app directory, so it is added by its link.

Claude Code and Gemini CLI

One line in your terminal:

With your property-management software

The connector reads the photo it is given and nothing else. It has no integration with any property-management software, so the triage goes into your work order the way any note does: you copy it. Which tools does the fixRAgent MCP server have?

Do I need an API key?

Not to start. Adding the server needs no key, and try_sample needs no key. With no key, assess_property_photo reads the real photo up to 3 times per connection in a rolling 24 hours, then returns the sample. A demo key from fixragent.com/docs reads 60 photos a day. get_triage_profile needs no key: it reads back a saved assessment that its fixragent.com/c/ link already shows.

How do I add fixRAgent to Claude?

In Claude, open the connector settings, choose Add custom connector, name it fixRAgent, paste https://fixragent.com/mcp and choose Add. Then send: Show me what fixRAgent does. The connect page has every step with copy buttons.

No. It reads the photo it is given and nothing else. It has no integration with AppFolio, Yardi, Rent Manager, Entrata or any other property-management software, and the Buildium connection fixRAgent has built is in testing in its own account and not open to manager accounts yet.
