You send one photograph. fixRAgent returns a Triage Profile: what the thing is, whether a fault is visible in the photo, how urgent it is in one of four words, which trade it needs, and a line you can send to whoever reported it. The same photograph is read more than once and the profile says how many of those reads agreed.

What does fixRAgent cost?

A first Triage Profile needs no account. A free account keeps your results and adds one more. Paid plans, for homeowners and for people who manage rental property, are listed on the site with their current prices.

What kinds of home repair problems can fixRAgent triage?

Plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, appliances, drywall, roofing, flooring and the outside of a building. fixRAgent answers from what is visible in the photograph, and says so when the photograph does not show enough to answer.

When does fixRAgent say a job can wait?

Every Triage Profile carries one of four urgency words, and saying which jobs can wait and which cannot is the thing fixRAgent is for. Visible wiring a person could touch, or water near anything electrical, is forced to the highest urgency in code. The one exception: when the photo is not of a building at all, for example a person, a pet or a vehicle, the answer is not urgent, and that rule is checked first.

Can landlords and property managers use fixRAgent?

Yes. Plans for rental property add a portfolio of properties, a record of every appliance with its brand, model and serial number, the repair history for each property, and a link to a Triage Profile that you can send to a resident or a contractor without them signing in.

What is the appliance register in fixRAgent?

It is a record of the equipment in a property: brand, model number, serial number and when it was bought. From a record you can open its manual, have a photograph of it read, and see what has been done to it before.

Can I share a Triage Profile with someone else?

Yes. Every Triage Profile has a share link of the form fixragent.com/c/ followed by its id. Whoever opens it sees the profile without an account, and can have a photograph of their own read on the same page.

Do I need an account to use fixRAgent?

No account is needed for a first Triage Profile. Send a photograph or describe the problem and the profile opens where you are. An account keeps your history and the appliance register.

How sure is a fixRAgent Triage Profile?

Every profile states the engine's own confidence and how many of the reads of that photograph agreed with each other. A clear photograph, close enough to read a label, gives a better answer than a distant one. fixRAgent names a licensed trade for anything electrical, gas, structural or otherwise unsafe to take on alone, and says so in the profile.

Is there an app that tells me what is wrong with something in my house?
